Welcome back readers!
It’s officially summer here in the Northern Hemisphere and with that comes various outdoor activities. One of the main pastimes for the hottest time of the year is venturing out to the local beach or pool. And if you have kids, then you may spend more time at those places than anywhere else.
Of course, any parent worries about their child (or children) suffering an accident while around water so we all try our best to prevent these incidents. Constant supervision and swimming lessons are the main tools used to minimize the possibility of drowning. Recently, however, my wife found an article about something called dry drowning and after reading the information, I felt that it was something I should share with EVERYONE.
Not only should parents read this but also ANYONE who will be handling any childcare duties. So, please take the time and look at this article so you are better equipped to know the symptoms of this dangerous occurrence.
-Until next time.
